Account Access

What is my BBN Id ?

Your BBN Id is the email address you provided while signing up for BBN SMS or any other BBN service.

How do I modify my account settings?

Sign in to your BBN account (if you have not done that already), navigate to ‘My Profile’ on your account page.
Effect all necessary changes on My profile page and click the ‘Save Changes’ button.

Why can’t I modify my email address and phone number?

Your Email address is your BBN Id and cannot be changed for any account once registered.
Your phone number should be modifiable but on the 8th of August, 2008 We at BBN concluded on a unique phone number policy to check the activities of exploitative users who singly registered tens to hundreds of accounts on BBN SMS in order to continuously accumulate the 2 free sms we offer during sign up.

How do I change my password?

Sign in to your BBN account (if you have not done that already), navigate to ‘My Profile’ on ‘My Account Setting’ page.
Click on ‘Change password’ Provide Current password, create and confirm new passwords in relevant fields on the Account Setting screen and click the ‘Save Changes’ button.

How do I reset my forgotten password?

On the Sign-In Page click on the ‘Can’t Access My Account’ link. On the Page that shows, choose “SEND ME A NEW PASSWORD”, provide your email (BBN Id). A  New Password will be sent to your mail box.

BBN is the acronym for Browser Based Network Ltd.

How do I Register a new Account?

Log on to our home page ‘www.bbnplace.com’.

Click on “Get Started” on the drop down button below Account.

Type in a valid email address and click on Sign Up.

A mail will be sent to the email address, log into your mail to complete your sign up.

You can now log into your BBN account with your email address and password.

Can I use the phone number I had in my old account to register a new account?

No, Phone numbers are unique to each account and can not be repeated in two different account.

What is the maximum page I can send at once?

You can send maximum of seven  (7) pages at once.

Can the new password be sent to my phone?

No, the new password in ‘Can’t access my account‘ can only be sent to the registered email address.

Can I Send Bulksms on my Phone?

Yes, BBN SMS Messenger Mobile website is now online delivering the same service on your mobile phone as on your PC.
